Rotoblock indexing gears for industrial applications
MIKSCH rotoblock indexing gear are mechanical indexing gears with a globoidal curve as the drive element. The gears are free of locking play and self-locking.
The input and output shafts are perpendicular to each other. Optionally, the gearboxes can be supplied with a through input and/or output shaft. The output shaft can also be designed as a hollow shaft upon request.
Rotoblock indexing gears are available in 8 sizes with a wide range of station numbers between 1 and 24. Various combinations of indexing/detent angles enable appropriate indexing/detent time ratios for continuous operation. However, the most common application is intermittent operation with a constant indexing time and a variable detent time.
Rotoblock indexing gears are supplied lubricated for life and therefore require minimal maintenance.
The gearboxes are also available as an installation kit consisting of a cam and roller star.
Typical applications include assembly machines, packaging machines and the drive of linear conveyors.
